Through optimization of the crystal structure, pore distribution, and adsorption characteristics, the dynamic adsorption capacity for carbon dioxide of 13X-APG-III molecular sieve is typically 60% to 70% higher than that of conventional 13X-APG. Even under low partial pressure carbon dioxide conditions, 13X-APG-III maintains excellent adsorption efficiency, making it particularly suitable for demanding operating environments.
Type 13X-APG-III molecular sieve also demonstrates outstanding adsorption of moisture and various trace contaminants commonly present in atmospheric air, including hydrocarbons and sulfur compounds. By effectively removing these impurities before the cryogenic separation process, it prevents ice and dry ice formation, protects downstream heat exchangers and distillation equipment, improves operational reliability, and helps maintain stable plant performance.
Specifically developed for large-scale cryogenic air separation plants, the improved adsorption kinetics and larger effective working capacity of 13X-APG-III allow air separation units to achieve longer adsorption cycles, reduced regeneration frequency, lower regeneration energy consumption, and higher overall process efficiency. 13X-APG-III molecular sieve is widely preferred in air pre-purification systems for the production of oxygen, nitrogen, and argon.
