Zeolite raw powder or molecular sieve raw powder, adopts the hydrothermal synthesis method to react with silicon source, aluminum source, caustic soda and water at a certain temperature. zeolite raw powder is a synthetically crystallized virgin aluminosilicate crystal powder, without the addition of binders, without pressing strip or ball forming.
Zeolite raw powder has the characteristic skeleton of formed molecular sieve. Therefore, the same type of zeolite raw powder and formed molecular sieve, their adsorption principle and adsorption selectivity are the same, the basic physicochemical properties are consistent, and the regeneration processes are also universal.
The pores inside the zeolite raw powder are inherently filled with crystalline water. Newly synthesized zeolite powder has pores filled with water, thus its adsorption capacity is limited. It needs to be calcined at high temperature to remove the crystalline water before it is activated and acquires sieving or water-absorbing capabilities.
